Install EndNote X3 via NUS
Software Catalogue
Before you begin:

Ensure that
your computer is
connected to NUS computer network and you have administrator
rights to install.

Un-install any previous versions of EndNote
from your computer.

Login to NUSNET on campus
(for laptops: login to NUS Open wireless network)

Click on
http://software.nus.edu.sg/catalogue/sc-setup.exe
to install the Software Catalogue issued by Computer Centre
-
After installation in b., in your computer, go to Start -- > All Programs --> Software Catalogue

Click on
Software Catalogue Client 1.2
-
A window opens, entitled
Software Catalogue.

On the left, under
Software Category,
click on
Specialised Applications
-
Click on
EndNote X3
to install (click here to view
installation steps in detail)
- When installation is complete, this toolbar should appear in:
- Microsoft Word 2003:

- Microsoft Word 2007:

Off-Campus:
Install EndNote X3 via NUS Software Catalogue
- Login to NUSNET
via WebVPN :
http://webvpn.nus.edu.sg
- Follow the
steps b. to h. above for "in campus"

Mac: Install EndNote

EndNote X3 for Mac is now available!
(If you are accessing outside
NUS, please login to NUS network via WEBVPN
http://webvpn.nus.edu.sg)
1) From Finder, choose
Go-> Connect to server
2) Connect to afp://macfile.nus.edu.sg
(Login using your NUSNET userid and password)
3) Select “Macintosh Volume”.
- If you are a student,
click on the folder "stuapps"
- If you are a staff
member, open the folder "site license”
4) Search for the relevant software
you are entitled to inside the respective folder.
5) Double-click on the .dmg file.
When the files mount, open the folder and follow the instructions.
6) Please inform
software@nus.edu.sg after the installation is done so that the
connection to the installation can be released for other users.
